Eco Coffin Project daisy flower

Exhibitions

The Pushing Up Daisies Exhibition is the culmination of each Eco Coffin Project. The exhibition displays the decorated eco-coffins and hand-crafted shrouds made by the participants. These powerful personal works of art and love spark questions about sustainable death and raise community awareness of natural burial.

The exhibition venue is the Gawler Civic Centre during all of August. The exhibition is promoted as a group entry in the South Australian Living Arts Festival (SALA).

The purpose of this part of the program is to share our learnings and insights with the wider community in this creative way.

To reach an even wider audience we have curated the online exhibitions below for your enjoyment. To learn more about each exhibit click on the ‘more detail’ button which will open the Artist page. On that page you will gain an understanding of the artist’s making-process and be moved by the heartfelt personal story that inspired their exquisitely beautiful and unique creation.
